Hello all of you very sweet women!
Here is my positive thought..
For the past 2 days I have been working on a very grueling contract at work.
It consisted of setting up 12 feet of scaffolding and spending 2 days climbing up and down at least 25 times....ug. ( I am definitely not 25 anymore )
The contract was down on the beach and it was to scrape, primer(with an aluminum primer...icky..sticky crud)
Then we had to repaint every little piece, with an oil base epoxy paint...icky sticky crud again.. we had 6 color changes which is always a painters nightmare!
Then in 90' weather....which I forgot to add and oh we had to block off an entire street right in the middle of this tourist are which royally ticked off all of the vendors due to the fact that the city decided to do this little project on the July 4th weekend..pffft!!
So...I made sure that I smiled a lot and spread around a lot of positive thoughts to calm these angry people down and I doubt it worked on too many because when money is at stake...OMG there goes the world .
WEll the bright side of this little adventure is that I am FINISHED ;D
and it looks fantastic...I am definitely sporting a nice tan and my butt has firmed up from all of the intense climbing in 48 hours
Oh ....lol....I even had a guy stop and ask me how to spell 'girl thingy' because he wanted to get a t-shirt airbrushed to take back to his girlfriend and I did not ask why....I looked at my partner and we both broke out laughing at that point. Very strange people in that part of the city(tourists
Ladies, if I can live through that and come out still grabbing hold of the good stuff...we will win this battle of negative crap.
Have a beautiful July 4th and keep moving forward!!!
Huggz~D~
