OK D, You know that I love the videos! All of them have an excellent message!! My favorites are always the ones with messages in print, beautiful scenery and wonderful music in the background. Thus my favorite today is Never Forget! I can play this over and over in my mind all day today! Feels pretty good! Thank you, Love, Val

I've enjoyed most of the self-esteem videos, and think they are a wonderful way for young women(mostly teens) to change their mindset. I think it is a great project. Although, did anyone have a problem with the first one, like I did? No way in a million years would I want my daughter watching that one. I think the intent may have been fine, but the footage is counter-productive. Manipulating your way to have ppl like you is never being true to yourself. Popularity in high schools is very over-rated. This one plays both sides of the fence. The only reason I felt it necessary to write a response is if any teens frequent the site. Other than that I think they are all wonderful and hope that I have the resources when it is appropriate for my lil one to watch. Any responses are welcome Love you ladies and hope everyone is well. Holly

Hello Holly
That video is an awareness video of exactly what our teens are facing and why they DO feel that they have to be perfect. The video was made to alert people not to invite them.
If we do not show what exactly our young people are up against...how will parents know how to deal with their thoughts and understand their motivation .
I do however understand what you were saying and it can be viewed as a double edged sword..yes. But if a teenager watches that...they will tell you that is the reality they already live in. This video does not show them anything that they do not already battle with everyday.
It is why I chose it for the first video...so that the following will show them that they do not have to fall into that trap.
I appreciate your sharing that thought with us and I am hoping that more members will read these thoughts so that they can understand exactly what the world is doing to our young people.
If you still feel that it could be detrimental to any youngsters....then I will remove it. I have no problem switching it out.
Let me know!

AH! I am on pain meds right now, so I may be a little slow. I now can understand the logic of putting it as the first video. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part...it makes alot more sense now... Love, Holly
