10/16/2008- Thursday! Tonight I see a tired 44 yr old. She is frumpy and not taking care of herself. I see the years of wear and tear in her eyes and perplexity in her smile. I see the weight she has gained and the gray in her hair. I also see a woman who is taking her nightly time for her friends and who always has faith and hope. Tomorrow is a new day and I can't wait to see what it brings!

10/18/2008 - Saturday Strange how each day we see something different in ourselves. Today I see a woman who is moving on..each and everyday to get out of that door that has been opened for me. I also see someone who is staunch in her belief system...except when it comes to herself! What is that about? I see a body who is not cooperating as the weather is changing.....and a mind that does not shut off until forced to do so. I also see a person who always has faith and hope in life and in people. I see a good person. I see a good mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend and daughter. I want to be that person...with a splash of adventure and spontaneity

Huggz Val
Thank you for attempting to complete this little quiz of mine.
Even though you only tried it twice....you had quite a bit to say about you. It is not that we see something different about our selves every time we look in the mirror...it is that we are looking at ourselves with a different mind. The Samurai have a very interesting way to focus...it is called using 'One Mind'!
I think that...... Valerie worries way to much about other people's choices for themselves. This is not in your control. Your beliefs are commendable and so are your thoughts of better things for others, but Valerie sweety...you are allowing what other people do to reflect on how you feel about you. It is not up to you to take responsibility for anyone but you.
You better than anyone I know, should know that a higher power has that job and would never place it on a humans shoulders.
It is not about our health or our looks...it is truly about our faith in life. We all seem to feel that we were shortchanged somehow because we are ill or short or blind ect. There is not a single rule that states anyone of us has been shortchanged.
The word individual and unique is what we fail to focus on.
Health problems definitely challenge ones psyche...how our children make decisions is yet another huge challenge for us...the challenges go on and on and on. This is life. Valerie you are living proof that a person can cope with their illnesses and still manage to strive towards helping others that more than not need less help than you do.
You are not your illness...you are not the problems that your family gets themselves into...You are a very sweet, kind, loving, genuine woman. How many women can look in the mirror and see that?
If I have long winded here...it is because I know a bit more about you than I do any of the other ladies!

I am going to give this another go....very soon. I think this is an awesome idea and could tell us a lot about ourselves! I imagine I will see many things that I would not ordinarily see in the course of a week. Bet I even find some things that are very special! Lets give this a go everyone! Love, Val
