My God these pictures are heartbreaking. I'm looking at the 14th picture and it's amazing to see that one lonely house still standing while all around it is burnt.

I just heard on the news the death toll is now over 200. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. I'm afraid we will suffer a similar fate here in the US, especially here in the Southwest where temps get up to 120 degrees F and having been in a drought for 20 years. We have already seen our fair share of arsons here in Arizona.
Do you guys have Habitat for Humanity in Australia Andrea? If not, I wonder if we could get them to help Australians rebuild their communities? I would definitely volunteer.

Huggz Andrea The world has not been a very comforting place these past few months and the horrific fires in Australia are certainly not making things easier for those people. The wonders of Natures intense messages have always made us all wonder and ask WHY? ? ALL of the people in the world right now that are in fear of their lives and their homes are most certainly in my daily thoughts and prayers. Thank you for bringing this world tragedy to our attention. ~D~

Hi Andrea,
I had read about the brushfires but did not realize how quickly the death toll has increased. I hope that any areas still in danger have been evacuated. I'm sorry for the families and other persons directly affected by this. I will definitely keep them in my prayers.
Love, Ellen
