Ladies....
I am contemplating stopping the newsletter as I am not getting enough members actually opening them each month to warrant the cost of keeping it running.
This months may just be the last newsletter!
Your feed back will be most appreciated:)

Is this an online, email or paper newsletter?
I'm not sure that I'm on the list?

Hello.... Just go here and loo for the little envelope at the top of the home page.... & join. It is part of being a member of the website. www.womensselfesteem.com/index.htmlI should probably have the sign up in here also. I keep forgetting that a lot of forum members do not come through the website. Thanks for bringing that to my attention....it may help! ~D~

Well D, You know me I love the newsletter! I did like it better when I got it through email though! I guess my answer would depend on who else reads it and if you really have the time to devote to it! Love and Blessings, Val

Hey Val
What do you mean...when you got it through mail?
Why re you not getting it through your mail still? If you have changed your email address....then it is up to you to sign up for it again.
Just go to the little envelope up top of the forum and click it.
Add your name and new email address there:)
I do not mind the time as I always put a lot of time in everything to do with the website. It is the cost that I look at.
Although I have found a free newsletter system through the website I am probably going to go with.
It will not have all the bells and whistles but as long as I can get my thoughts out...that will be the main point.
That is where I am at at the moment on that subject. I am also looking at changing out the chat room as I have been monitoring that and the numbers are not justifying the cost again. I think I can get a simpler version for free.
All of these changes you will notice as they come along.
Other than that...the numbers to the website are up...the forum are slowly moving back up also.
Try to remember to click the adds on the home page and I have a banner (The Inside Secrets to a man's mind....) up top of the forum also....
NOT the Google one. That is not mine. That belongs to the forum server people.

Hello.... Just go here and loo for the little envelope at the top of the home page.... & join. It is part of being a member of the website Oops... oddly enough I go to the main page every time I log in. I think the little envelope will definitely help. I tried getting onto the chat today and it wouldn't work. I've been on it once before so I'm not sure what the problem was. Nevertheless, I think it's a great feature, I hope you can keep it going. I know Val and Andrea try to go in there regularly but I imagine there are many hours during the day that nobody is around. I find myself posting at times when no one else is on the boards. When I first started posting I would check the chat room but eventually I just stopped bothering. I know this needs to be a free service (and I think I've asked before) but are you able to take donations to help cover the costs. $10 a year from regular members (who of course already give so much of their time ;D) might go a long way to helping out. What are your annual costs?

Hey girl.....
The chatroom seems to be connecting in random for many members. I have checked and it seems to be a connection in cyberspace.
All you can do is restart your pc before you attempt to connect...sometimes cookies have a way to block any type of javascript.
Also cleaning up your browser helps with connections also.
I spend anywhere from $5-800.00 a year running the site. That is just the costs for renewing server rights. There are many more costs that I have not included which are in regards to trafficking for a higher pr rank.
The chat room $250.00 per year and newsletter run me approx $480.00 per year.
I have banners on the front page that do make the site some money when people clikc on them and keep the page open for 90 seconds. Also I have highlighted words that are payperclick and there is e-bay which if and when people use it...makes the site money.
Unfortunately women come here for advice and the last thing they are thinking about is which page is best to enter in from (Website Home Page) or shopping on e-bay.
But if you have a few minutes do click on the banners. There is also one here in the forum when you are on the home page on top of the newsletter letter.
As for donations....I have always prided the fact that the sit is a free site. So that would some how contradict my initial approach!
But I do appreciate your suggesting it.
I just have a problem when I see that donation button my websites. I guess that is my issue to overcome (wink)
